Like most kids I absolutely loved riding my bike. Sadly like a lot of adults for whatever reason we stop riding bikes. This is a story about how it took a global pandemic to get me back on my bike.

It’s been a weird few weeks. We are 2 weeks into the covid 19 lockdown. While things are a bit stressful and uncertain looking forward, I take time everyday to think about those who have it really tough right now. I feel blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the world, with such an awesome family sharing my “bubble” with me.

The Waikouaiti New Years Day races was something I always loved as a kid, so its pretty special being able to take my kids there now.
Taieri Gorge Railway
On the last day of the school holidays took the kids on the Taieri Gorge Railway. Despite being the middle of spring we were treated to some snow flurries, such beautiful scenery along the way.

Mens Club Basketball Final
A busy week of basketball here in Dunedin, first the Steven Adams camp on Wednesday, and the the mens club basketball final on Saturday. Congrats to the Mid city Magic, beating a scrappy City Rise Bombers squad.

Mid Winter Carnival
Great time with the kids last night at the mid winter carnival in the Octagon.

Had a great long weekend away at Lake Ohau with the family. Awesome to head up to one of my favourite places, it was a little chilly, but stunning none the less.
